The second season of The Affair will show more mystery of relationships, revenge and how everyone is dealing with scandalous ordeals.

Noah & Alison's Relationship Is 'Just Beginning' On 'The Affair?'

On Tuesday, a new trailer was revealed where Noah is seen having an affectionate moment with Alison on the couch. But their happiness is ruined when the police come by and take Noah away in handcuffs.

Some moments go back and forth of times when the main characters were happy together despite the fact that they're married to other people. Now they're going to have to deal with some unfortunate consequences with their spouses and each other.

Noah confronts Alison about his manuscript telling her that he doesn't want her to read it before it's done. The man is then charged in court with a serious crime leaving Alison to wonder how she really feels about him. He feels like she's trying to get rid of him and based on her reaction, she doesn't seem to disagree.

There is also some insight on Cole and Helen who resort to low standards with all the drama. Cole looks more distressed than ever while Helen has a glass of alcohol in her hand- likely to drown out her sorrow.

The trailer moves into moments of tears, anger, passion and Alison on a surprise visit to see Helen.
