In a recent TVLine spoilers report we got some information about the possibility of JJ's (A.J. Cook) husband Will (Josh Stewart) coming back for season 11.
Showrunner Erica Messer revealed to the publication that he could return for an episode but they weren't exactly planning on it. But what makes the prospect stronger is that fact that JJ and Will had a baby.
Messer suggested that owing to that development -- which has been written into the show as Cook is pregnant in real life -- it was likely that "he might show up in an episode."
Cook will also be on something of a maternal leave for a while, so will not be seen in the first few episodes of the next chapter.
Messer also recently revealed that Aisha Tyler had been brought in to essentially to compensate for Cook's absence in the first few episodes.
When asked if Tyler could be taken on to extend her role after Cook's return and end up helping fill the void left by Hewitt, Messer said that they'd love to have her continue with crew.
"We'd love to have her come play as often as possible, because she's amazing and she fit right in with the cast," Messser said.
Season 11 will premiere on Sept. 30 on CBS.
