Karlie Redd has always mentioned being a mother on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop Atlanta. But fans have never seen her daughter on the series, until now.

The network has dropped what’s said to 18-year-old Jasmine’s first reality TV debut in a bonus clip of the series online.

In the clip Jasmine arrives at Karlie Redd’s home from school, only to be covered by lots of kisses and hugs. She later tells her daughter about her new boyfriend, singer Lyfe Jennings. She first asks what her opinion is of him.

“He’s okay. He’s smooth, he’s chill. I don’t know him yet.”

That was enough for Karlie Redd and she lets Jasmine know that she and Lyfe are an item. She even tells Jasmine that she’s going to finish her trek on having a son, whether it’s with Lyfe or not.

Jasmine drops a bomb of her own on her mother that she wants to drop out of school to tart her career.

“In order to get into your career you have to go to school.”

Jasmine points out that Karlie Redd took a break from school. Karlie reminds her that it’s because she was pregnant with her but she went back to finish.

“So you have to finish. You don’t have a choice. I thought you knew that. You don’t have choices,”Karlie joked.

Jamsine opens up and said she doesn’t want to keep switching majors. Karlie encourages her and tells her to stick with it.
