Mike Epps has attempted to clear up what really happened when his wife caught him flirting with another woman on Twitter.

He apologized and said, “Sorry to all my fans for all the drama on Twitter but I don’t run my account by self fyi my nephew DM girls and they find out it’s not me”

Unfortunately for him, he didn’t convince too many fans but he was able to laugh it off anyway.

“Ok if I was in court, would I be guilty? They say I had a gun in the bank but I didn’t rob a bank! Lol [forget] y’all….This is like trial y'all think I gotta chance to beat it?”

His tweets came just after his wife spotted him trying to get extra friendly with a woman on the site.

Epps (or as he said, his nephew) had no shame in asking the woman if she was on Instagram. She replied and said she wasn’t because she wasn’t getting enough likes on the app. So Epps told her to send him a direct message. His wife stepped in and simply placed the looking emoji and that sent the message loud and clear. He later blocked the woman, whose handle is @CeciCitra on Twitter.

The slight drama comes just as the couple gets ready to celebrate their 10th anniversary next year. They tied the knot back in July 2006. They actually met on the set of The Fighting Temptations that starred Beyonce and Cuba Gooding, Jr. They have two girls Maddie and Mariah together. He also has two daughters, Makayla and Bria, from a previous relationship.
