Over the weekend, both of the actors took to their Instagram pages to post photos of the same beach they were at. With boulders to walk upon and a lovely sky hanging over them, the TV stars are probably having a joyous time with each other.
The two stars have been busy working on their CW shows The Vampire Diaries and The Originals where both of them will be returning for the new seasons this fall. In an interview with Daily Telegraph, Tonkin opened up on how she keeps herself in good spirits as she goes about her work schedule and spending time with others.

"For me, wellness doesn't necessarily just mean food, exercise and body image," she said. "It's also looking after yourself spiritually, making time for family and friends, finding balance in your life. It's being able to work hard and reach your goals while making time to take care of yourself- mentally and physically."
The actress also said that she likes to wear "functional and practical clothing."
"I can wear these pieces walking with my dog Lola, and then stop somewhere on the way home and get a margarita!" she said.
