Is Jennifer Lawrence so desperate for love that she's willing to date a reality television star? That's what the new rumor is as the gossip blogs are reporting that mom Kris Jenner is trying to set up her Hollywood pal with her reclusive son, Robert Kardashian.

According to Heat's print edition in Britain this week (via Gossip Cop), the momager is so worried about her son that she is hoping that the outgoing actress will help Robert crawl out of his shell. Unfortunately though, he was livid with Kris for trying to set him up with the blonde beauty.

Back in August, Kris supposedly had Jennifer come back home with her after her birthday party so she could introduce her to the rest of the family. A source close to the Kardashian family told the publication, "Rob wasn't happy with Kris... He's not ready to date and wants to lose more weight before being pictured in public but it's classic Kris."

And even though Rob doesn't think Jennifer is girlfriend material for him, they got along nonetheless. The insider added, "It was set up but they hit it off. Rob's funny and Jen's hilarious."

According to Gossip Cop though, the rumor is absolutely not true, as a source close to the Hollywood star says that the story is nothing more than "laughable" fodder.
