Although MTV hasn't yet confirmed news of the upcoming installment, a rumor regarding Simms' possible exit from the series, as well as the exit of Leah Messer's second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, hit the web months ago.

“Corey is done with the show,” a source told Life & Style at the end of July. “He’s told MTV he will not return for another season. He doesn’t think the money is worth the aggravation anymore.”

“Jeremy also wants out of Teen Mom, but he hasn’t made any formal moves yet,” the source added.

Just days prior, Simms hinted at his exit from the show on Twitter.

In July, Simms and his wife, Miranda, along with his ex-wife, Messer, traveled to Los Angeles, where they wrapped filming on the sixth season of Teen Mom 2 with filming on the reunion show.

While there hasn't been much said about Simms' exit since news broke, The Ashley's Reality Roundup claimed on Wednesday that the rumor had yet to be confirmed.
