The person responsible for two deaths so far in Salem has managed to keep their identity a secret thus far, but after a struggle with Marlena (Deirdre Evans), the shocking truth could be exposed on Days of Our Lives.  

Marlena Is Targeted By The Serial Killer

The person who has already strangled both Serena Mason and Paige Larsen to death is now trying to kill Marlena as well-but help will arrive for the respected doctor and she will be spared-though the killer will still be able to flee. However, after they have gone, the killer will remove their mask-and the person who disguised themselves and started going on a killing spree could be a major surprise.  

The one person who has been a consistent suspect has been Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), though it is now more clear than ever that he isn't the actual killer because he was clearly shown nowhere near Marlena when the attack on her began. And though happening on the scene and rescuing Marlena would be all the alibi he needs to prove his innocence, he likely won't make it there before someone else, and could miss the chance all together when he happens across a still sad Abigail (Kate Mansi), who is worried following her last fight with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson).  

Rafe Is Furious When His Father Returns

After Ben warned her to stay away from Chad, he then caught them together at the hospital after Abigail asked him for updates on how his hypnotherapy was going. He couldn't be consoled no matter how hard Abigail tried and stormed off-and Abigail hasn't seen him since. However, despite her grief that she may have pushed her fiance away for the final time, Abigail will still try to help Chad with his small flash of memory he had from the day Paige died, as they continue working to prove his innocence. 

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
