Kathryn Dennis has faced online backlash due to news of her second pregnancy.

Kathryn Dennis & Thomas Ravenel Split (Again)?

After announcing she and her ex-boyfriend, Thomas Ravenel, were having a second child together, despite not actually being a couple, the Southern Charm star fought back against fans who have accused her of having children to gain fame.

“If any person possibly believes 'I had a baby to stay on #SouthernCharm,' 1. They’re mentally disturbed 2. They need more attention," Dennis wrote, according to a report by AllAboutTRH on Tuesday. "It makes my skin crawl to imagine the mentally disturbed minds that conjure up such outlandish accusations for the price of fame. #ew.”

Kathryn Dennis Is Expecting Her Second Child With Thomas Ravenel

Weeks ago, after announcing she and Ravenel were expecting their second child, Dennis explained how her current pregnancy differs from her first.

"This pregnancy’s been different just because I’m living in Charleston. I’m not moving around. I have my family to help," Dennis revealed to The Daily Dish. "I’m not sick or having any issues. So that's been a blessing, both with the first pregnancy and this pregnancy."

"I do feel more relaxed. More or less anxious [too] because everyone says having two is so much different than having one," she said. "It is a little nerve-racking just wondering what that dynamic will be like and how different it will make my day to day."

Dennis and Ravenel's first child, daughter Kensington Calhoun Ravenel, was born on March 24, 2014.

Kathryn Dennis and the cast of Southern Charm are expected to return to Bravo for season three later this year, or early next year.
