He's been the focus of a lot of rumors following his return to being a single man, but Blake Shelton is putting ones concerning his state of mind following his divorce from Miranda Lambert officially to rest.

In an interview with CMT's Hot 20 Countdown, Shelton talked about his life post-divorce, and admitted he did have a rough patch after things first fell apart for he and Lambert in July, but that he has since gotten better and is completely fine these days.

"I'm in a good place, and I wasn't, but I am now," he says in the interview. "And it's amazing how quickly life can turn around for you. I've had some pretty cool things in recent times that have happened and I'm loving it."

He also talked briefly about the rash of rumors that have surrounded him since he and Lambert called it quits on their marriage back in July, joking about how busy his alter ego appeared to be following the split.

"I'm good. I'm not in rehab. I've got to pick up a magazine from time to time to see what's going on with my alter ego I guess," he said.

In addition to rumors about Shelton having a thing for both model Kate Upton and singer Rihanna, he was also rumored to be dating his also recently divorced Voice co-coach Gwen Stefani.

Rumors also circulated that he was drinking more than usual and exhibiting risky behaviors following the divorce, which had his loved ones allegedly worried about him.

"She [Lambert] kept Blake grounded. She was his voice of reason. But now that he's single, he's free-falling to a very bad place. Of course, he's always liked to drink a lot, ut now his alcohol consumption has skyrocketed," sources said last month. "They [his loved ones] want him to take some time out and send it in rehab. But Blake insists throwing himself into the new season of The Voice is the best distraction and all he needs."
