Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have been linked by transfer rumors with Holland international Wesley Sneijder. The 28 year old Inter Milan player has not played for the Italian club since September due to a contractual wrangling, and has admitted he would be interested in a move to the English Premier League.

Sneijder’s agent, Soren Lerby, has spoken to the BBC and explained that a move to England could be on the cards, but he has dismissed recent rumors linking the player with QPR - the basement club in the EPL at the moment.

Lerby said, "He is absolutely not interested in QPR and we haven't heard directly from anyone there. England probably has the top league in Europe, so it could appeal, but Wes would want to play for a top team."

Inter are in effect pushing the player out the door, demanding his accept a dramatic pay cut otherwise he will not be selected to play. The result is that he has not played for the team for nearly four months.

Lerby added, “Wesley is one of the best midfielders in Europe. He is fully recovered from injury and just loves to play football, so we need to find a solution to his situation with Inter. It's a very, very strange situation for all of us. We should know a lot more in the next week to 10 days."

It has been suggested by reports that Inter could be willing to allow the player to move to another club on a free transfer just to get him off their wage bill.

Arsenal and Chelsea are two teams that fit the description of being top EPL teams that could potentially attract the Netherlands’ player. Both have been linked in recent days with him but according to reports his alleged salary demands of £200,000 a week (approximately $325,000) have caused both to turn their back on a move for Sneijder.

Liverpool have also been said to be interested, and according to toe Gazette dello Sport made a £9.5 million bid for the player. However, Sneijder has denied any such bid took place.
