Kingdom fans can expect some more complications between Lisa and Alvey.

Nick Jonas Is Willing To Go 'Anywhere' On 'Kingdom'

In a new post from TV Line on Tuesday, Kiele Sanchez (Lisa) dished on what the second season will contain for the two characters. With a baby expecting and past difficulties taking place, it's hard for things to work out, but that doesn't mean the two don't care for each other.

"Certainly there are a lot of cracks and a lot of difficulties between [Lisa and Alvey]," Sanchez said. "They're two characters that love each other deeply, but, you know, Alvey is a difficult guy. And Lisa, with the pregnancy, her priorities and identity are shifting a bit. So you really start to look at the other person and try to figure out, 'What am I doing here?'"

As for other people, there will be more romance happening, specifically for Jay who meets an artist named Laura. According to actress Jessica Szohr (Laura), her character may have some insecurities as she struggles to impress one person in particular.

"She definitely has some demons. I think she needs the validation from men," Szohr said. "I do think she sees something in Jay and really does like him, but I think she gets scared away after she meets his mom, who lets Laura know a few things that raise her eyebrow."

Kingdom Season 2 premieres on Wednesday, October 14 at 9 p.m. ET on DIRECTV.
