Leave it to Chris Rock to tell it like it is, no matter how harsh it may sound. The controversial comedian made an arguably distasteful joke about Lamar Odom and how his near overdose helped save his marriage to his ex-wife, Khloe Kardashian.

Just this week it was announced that Odom and Kardashian have decided to put the breaks on their divorce proceedings, as they are giving their marriage a second chance. The reality television star has been by her estranged husband side ever since he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel and rushed to a Las Vegas hospital last week. The former NBA star supposedly binged on $75,000 worth of drugs with three prostitutes during his stay.

Rock took to his Twitter account to comment on the situation. He wrote, "Stay strong Lamar," while also posting a meme that said, "Here's to Lamar Odom on being the first guy in history to have coke and hookers save his marriage."

Many of Rock's Twitter followers commented immediately with, "Not sure if I should consider this inappropriate or hail you as a God, but it's genius," along with, "I'm still hoping his marriage saves his relationship with hookers and drugs."

Another critic wrote, "Odom and Kardashian's marriage got staying power. Movie rights getting ironed out on Lifetime channel right now."

Kardashian has continued to stay by Odom's side, as he was recently transferred from a Las Vegas hospital to one in Los Angeles instead. Several reports say that his condition is definitely improving, although traces of cocaine and unidentified pills were found in his body.
