Melania Trump might be keeping very quiet these days, but it looks like Donald Trump's ex-wife Ivana is doing most of the work for her. The former model is helping her ex-husband on the campaign trail, as she hosted a socialite luncheon in New York City this past weekend.
According to Page Six on Sunday, Ivana hosted a luncheon at Upper East Side restaurant Altesi for Denise Rich and 40 of her closest friends. Eyewitnesses say the Czech-born beauty ended the two-hour lunch by endorsing her ex-husband's bid for the White House.
One source tells the site, "She got up and thanked all of her friends for coming and then led a cheer. She said, 'Who's voting for Donald?' and we all raised our hands and said, 'Yay!'"
Unfortunately, though, the luncheon isn't going to help The Donald too much, as it mostly comprised of European socialites. Still, that didn't stop Ivana from making her message both loud and clear that the country needs a President Trump in its future.
The insider added, "They were all very pro-Donald. It was very high-spirited and very positive. Ivana did an amazing job."
Despite his multiple controversies, Donald is still leading ahead of the rest of the GOP pack with about 25 percent of the vote while Dr. Ben Carson trails behind in second place.
