Every year, over 50,000 people gather from around the world to Park City, UT for the weeklong independent film extravaganza known as the Sundance Film Festival.

Kicked off today, the festival has selected 200 films from over 9,000 submissions—discovering filmmaking’s freshest talent in documentaries, dramatic, and short films.

Festival goers not only get to watch film history be made, they also get to experience live music, panel discussions with leading filmmakers and industry figures, cutting edge media installations, and parties celebrating the festival community.

Can’t go? No worries! Track the festival activities and breaking film news throughout the week by following Sundance Film Festival on Twitter (@sundancefest), checking their website sundance.org, and viewing film clips on their YouTube channel.
