According to People Magazine on Tuesday, Jenner, who is the face of the latest Estee Lauder campaign, says that things at one point were so bad that she kept her head down because she didn't want anyone looking at her face.

The international runway star admitted, "Where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it. It completely ruined my self-esteem. I wouldn't even look at people when I talked to them."

She added, "I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face. Sure, I had crushes in high school, but I wouldn't even think about looking at guys."

Thankfully, Jenner says she's learned to love her flawed skin, even if it does make her feel a little self-conscious at times, especially when she spots an odd zit on her face from time to time.

"Slowly, I'm working towards not caring and I'm just in so much of a better place about it all now that I'm older," she explained. "I realized that it's a part of life for some people and it doesn't define who you are."
