They've spent a lot of time defending one another in the media, but new reports are now hinting that the amicable relationship featured between Meri and Robyn Brown on Sister Wives is genuinely just for show-and the two actually can't stand one another once the cameras aren't rolling.  

Meri & Robyn Dish On Adoption Victory

According to a report in the newest issue of Life & Style, Robyn has sent Facebook messages to friends in the past that are riddled with insults against Meri, showing she actually despises her fellow sister wife.  

The magazine reports that Robyn has previously called Meri a b**ch, has said she's "tired of her crap," and that Kody's first wife makes them al "look like idiots." She also allegedly trashed Meri when she publicly offered to act as a surrogate for her so Meri could have a second child, claiming that their shared husband, Kody, didn't want another child with Meri, and that "Meri [was] too big of a b**ch to want to have [another] child."

According to sources who spoke to the magazine, "Robyn's camaraderie with Meri has always just been for the show. They've never really gotten along."  

In addition, the source claims that Robyn has been the favorite wife ever since becoming a part of the family a few years ago-and that Kody makes no qualms about showering her with affection and ignoring Meri, Janelle and Christine.  

"Robyn is the queen. Kody spends all of his time with her. If it's another wife's house date, he'll go over at midnight and be back with Robyn by 6 a.m.," the source said. "Kody's behavior is unacceptable. He's supposed to love and honor each wife. 

Added to the drama, it appears Robyn knew Meri was being catfished earlier this year and did nothing to stop it-and may have spearheaded the family's secret shunning of Meri since, as part of a rouse to cause her downfall.  

"When Meri agreed to divorce Kody, Robyn knew in the back of her head this could very well be the end of Meri," the source said.  

The news comes after Meri has publicly defended Robyn against attacks from fans of the show twice in the last few months. She first took to Twitter to defend Robyn before the show premiered its sixth season, after several fans called Robyn a homewrecker, and even made comments about the baby she is currently expecting with Kody.  

"I am so tired of hearing comment after comment about Kody and Robyn putting me up to this or forcing me into it, or Robyn 'taking' my position in the family. No position was given up, no position was taken. The most important thing to me is those 3 kids of Robyn's. Their happiness, their security, their peace, is what matters to me. I will do anything in my power to give them that, and that is exactly what I did," she said at the time.  

She also later blasted the reports that Robyn had known about her being Catfished, saying she felt the reports were disgusting
