Nearly one year after tying the couple tied the knot, a report claims they are ready to settle down and welcome their first child -- and they are allegedly planning to do so in New York City.

"Cameron Diaz has her sights set on Broadway – and a baby!" OK! Magazine reported last week. "The actress and her husband Benji Madden are planning a move to New York City to raise their future family, as Diaz hopes to star in a Broadway play after the little one arrives.

“She and Benji plan on nesting in New York with their new baby,” a source told the magazine, adding that Diaz and Madden have already informed friends and family of their upcoming move.

At the moment, the 43-year-old has reportedly put her acting career on hold as she plans for the “major life-changing move.” However, according to the report, Diaz hopes to star in a "new play or a revival” after her first child's arrival.

“Cameron’s taking a page out of Katie Holmes’ book and wants to launch her acting career on Broadway,” the insider explained.

Earlier this month, a separate OK! Magazine source claimed Diaz wasn't having any luck conceiving a child naturally, and had begun exploring other options.

“She’s turned to IVF,” the insider said. “She’s totally committed to making this pregnancy happen.”
