Chris Brown can’t seem to find his way out of the courtroom as he is clapping back at yet another lawsuit.

Unlike the ones in the past, this one is geared toward his singing career, not his personal life, as a woman accuses him of stealing her song that turned into his hit "Don't Wake Me Up".

Brown shot back at Nayeri Gregor, who goes by Nayri, on Oct. 30. While he confessed that both songs do have the same name and even say “Don’t wake me up”in the lyrics, he insists that he did not steal the record. He added that title and lyrics are not enough to win a copyright infringement lawsuit.

He went on to say that he has never heard of Nayri or the song she claims that he stole. He hopes a judge will toss out the lawsuit altogether and that the woman will not win any money.

His statements come months after Nayri filed the lawsuit earlier this year.

In the documents she said she wrote the song back in 2009. Two years later she met Brian Kennedy, who later set up a meeting with her. She brought many of her songs for him to hear, including the one in question. He then put it into his computer but vowed he wasn’t downloading it. Nayri believes that Kennedy did indeed download the song but also remembered all of the lyrics and melody.

She said Kennedy then played the song for Brown and a man named Benny Banassi, who recorded it for his Fortune album in 2012.

She wants $150,000 for infringement.
