It seems all good things must come to an end.

'Fallout 4': Did Bethesda Use 'Destiny's Shooting Mechanics to Improve The Game?

After a 20-year run (yes, it's been 20 years!), it seems the Tekken series may finally be winding down. At least in terms of one of the main storylines.

As any fan of Tekken knows, the Mishima family has played a major role throughout each iteration of the popular fighting series. Bandai Namco has already confirmed that Tekken 7 will tie up all the loose ends surrounding the family's storyline, including one mystery that has gone unanswered for 20 years.

Fallout 4 Lore Dump: Catch Up On The Backstory

According to the manager of Bandai Namco's community Gaetan Gireme, "the mysteries behind the devil gene that both Kazuya and Jin possess will finally be explained," as will the story behind Heihachi's deceased wife, Kazumi.

According to the trailer, Kazumi will be introduced in Tekken 7, meaning the latest installation will be a prequel of sorts. Kazumi will play a "pivotal role in understanding the ending of the conflict" between the family, according to Gireme.

Will Tekken 7 be the last Tekken we'll be seeing, ever? Or is Bandai Namco just hoping to close the door on one story in order to bring something fresh to the table?

Since no official release date for Tekken 7 has been announced, we still have a while to sort through rumors and speculation regarding the game's storyline. The more we find out, the more you'll know!
