'The Bionic Woman' Star Will Portray Bishop's Mom On 'NCIS'

Last month the NCIS Twitter teased a former love of Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) would be making an appearance this season and it will be in the upcoming episode called Saviors, which will air next Tuesday, Nov. 10.

Jeanne Benoit (Scottie Thompson) will be reunited with DiNozzo since the NCIS team will be working on a case, in which she is involved since insurgents in Sudan attacked a group of volunteer doctors as noted in the press release.

Amongst those volunteer doctors were her husband so DiNozzo and Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) will travel to the crime scene to hopefully find the missing doctors.

In the preview for the episode it looks like prior to leaving the United States, McGee will give Eleanor "Ellie "Bishop (Emily Wickersham) the rundown on what happened between DiNozzo and Benoit.

"Who is she?" Bishop is seen asking MeGee in the clip below, but he doesn't give away all the details.

"Bottom line is Tony got too close," McGee informs her, adding, "It ended badly."

Meanwhile, it seems like DiNozzo will be totally compassionate to her despite their rough past.

"The woman just lost friends and maybe a husband," he says as clips of him staring at her in various scenes are shown.

TVLine reported from showrunner Gary Glasberg that Benoit is definitely within the parameters of being "one that got away."

Plus, the end of the preview shows Gibbs (Mark Harmon) having a bit of a scary moment at his desk at NCIS HQ, but luckily Dr. Cyril Taft (Jon Cryer) is there and knows exactly what to do, which is ordering someone to "Call 9-1-1!"

NCIS airs on Tuesdays on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
