Brandi Glanville was spotted wearing an anti-sobriety T-shirt in Los Angeles earlier this week, and while that wouldn't be too surprising on a normal day, the fact that she was with struggling addict Kim Richards has led to quite a lot of backlash online.

After being slammed for being "unclassy," "irresponsible" and "insensitive," Glanville took to Twitter, where she defended her wardrobe choice, and revealed the shirt would soon be for sale.

Glanville claimed Richards wasn't at all offended by the T-shirt, and felt it was funny, but many of her fans and followers online were horrified by her blatant disrespect for her friend's ongoing struggles, which led to two arrests just this year.

"Why would you wear that shirt in front of someone who is trying to be sober?" one woman asked.

Another said, "Agree! Plus, it sends a great message to her children. Trashy."

As backlash continued to flood Glanville's Twitter feed, accusations of being classless and acting in bad taste were shared, before another user pointed out, "[Kim] is new to recovery and her dear friend is wearing a shirt that says you can only have fun if your drunk."

Glanville was even accused of making a mockery of Richards' struggles in an effort to regain her full-time role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
