It appears that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel might be making a risky decision for their son.

Last Thursday, In Touch reported that the celebrity couple is not getting their seven-month-old son, Silas, vaccinated because the actress might not want that.

"Jessica is refusing to vaccinate him," a source said. "She feels that vaccination could cause complications."

Chatter On Jessica Biel's Pregnancy Speculation

Whatever is really going on with this, the insider is hoping that Biel and her husband will think otherwise about this in the future.

"I'm sure Jessica believes that she's making the right decision, but hopefully she and Justin will do some more research on this and change their minds," the source said.

Reps for the couple were supposedly contacted, but have yet to say if this is true.

According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it's important to vaccinate a baby because there are serious diseases that still exist.

"Most young parents have never seen the devastating effects that diseases like polio, measles, or whooping cough (pertussis) can have on a family or community," the site reads. "It's easy to think of these as diseases that only existed in the past. But the truth is they still exist."

The site added that vaccinations are very safe and are "tested extensively."

"Scientists and medical professionals carefully evaluate all the available information about the vaccine to determine its safety and effectiveness. As new information and science becomes available, vaccine recommendations are updated."
