While the Los Angeles premiere of Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 will go on as planned, the red carpet interviews for the event have been cancelled.

Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 Could Have Alternate Ending For Katniss?

The announcement was revealed via an Entertainment Weekly report. A representative of Lionsgate informed the entertainment website via a statement that this is being done in observance of the Paris terror attacks.

"Out of respect for the very recent events in Paris, we have decided to modify our red carpet and we will not conduct interviews at Monday's Mockingjay 2 premiere," the representative. "We will proceed with the rest of the event as planned in honor of the incredible fans who have always supported our films with such passion."

Parts of the movie have also been shot in France which makes the tragedy hit closer home. Bands like the Foo Fighters have also cancelled their tours in France in the wake of the terror attacks.

Meanwhile, some early reviews for the movie, which is premiering this week, are aleady out. While some critics enjoyed it, others think it is not a fitting conclusion to the YA series. In fact a few critics also suggest that the producers of the films have unnecessarily drawn out the saga by adding a second part to the final of the trilogy. The Hollywood Reporter's critic states that "too many people will be sorry to see this overdrawn series end,"The Guardian seconds the opinion revealing that "the decision to split the final chapter of the dystopian saga into two chapters looms large over a frustratingly-paced mixture of thrilling action and surprisingly dark drama."

Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 will hit theaters on Nov. 20.
