In fact, the former chart-topper says that she doesn't even ask for his opinion on her music anymore, as he usually half-heartedly responds by saying everything sounds "great."

According to Xpose on Sunday, Rimes reveals that no matter what she does or says, the Hollywood actor always gives her a thumbs up - even when he's not really listening.

She said, "'I don't really ask his opinion anymore, because I know he's going to be like, 'It sounds great, babe!'''

What's more, Rimes says that she doesn't really pay attention to anyone's opinion anymore, and that includes her critics.

The country singer has been the target of a lot of criticism for both her personal life and her career ever since she admitted to breaking up Cibrian's marriage and family when they first got together. Cibrian was previously married to Brandi Glanville; the ex-couple share two children together, Mason and Jake.

Rimes explained, "'I just kind of let the B.S. roll off. People's attitudes - it's like, 'God bless you for thinking that, and you really don't know my situation. Thanks for the input.'''
