A crossover between NCIS and its Crescent City spin-off NCIS: New Orleans is presently filming, and some cast members have shared behind-the-scenes pictures!

'The Bionic Woman' Star Will Portray Bishop's Mom On 'NCIS'

Viewers of these shows know the crossover will feature a more in-depth look at Abby's (Pauley Perrette) family, especially since Tyler Ritter has been cast as her adopted brother Luca.

It seems like filming at the moment is taking place on the NCIS: New Orleans set: Lucas Black, the portrayer of Christopher LaSalle on the southern-based spin-off, revealed Monday via Twitter that he was "looking forward" to his scene with NCIS star Emily Wickersham, the portrayer of Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop, while hashtagging his show's title.

What Is 'The Abby Effect' That 'NCIS' Star Pauley Perrette Is Involved With?

Wickersham showed the same kind of enthusiasm about getting to work with the NCIS: New Orleans star.

Black then confirmed that the crossover is currently filming, answering many fans' questions about why they were filming scenes together.

"[The episode] will air after the New Year," he further dished.

The storylines in the crossover have yet to be officially disclosed, but it seems like the casts are having fun together on set.

Wickersham and Zoe McLellan, who plays Meredith Brody on NCIS: New Orleans, seem to be starting a band: The Bro-Ships. Wickersham shared a fun picture with McLellan from behind a drum set, while dishing, "Will be playing all night in NOLA."

McLellan also shared a photo of their band. Perhaps the teams' case will take them to a music venue given the stage and drum set they're pictured with.

McLellan also shared a photo with Black and some other members of the NCIS: New Orleans family.

NCIS airs on Tuesdays on CBS at 8 p.m. ET, with NCIS: New Orleans following at 9 p.m. ET.
