Christmas time is almost here, so we can expect some of our favorite artists spread holiday cheer by releasing excellent holiday tunes! We are all waiting for every artist to release their version of a Christmas song.

Christmas has come early for fans of Carly Rae Jepsen. The "I Really Like You" singer released an awesome cover of the classic 1985 "Last Christmas." Jepsen has managed to make her version more sweet and smooth with a little bit of harmonies and synths, adding a velvety saxophone and sass. She doesn't lose the '80s vibe of the 1985 hit, instead she made her own version more 80's. George Michael would be proud.

The song was originally brought to us by Wham! in 1984. Wham! were a British duo formed by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley in 1981. "Last Christmas," originally written and produced by George Michael and first performed by the duo in 1984. It has been covered by many artists since its original release including Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, the cast of Glee, Jimmy Eat World and more.

Listen to Jepsen's Christmas cheer below and hopefully we'll get a video before Dec. 25.
