Just weeks after confirming their professional relationship had turned into romance, the new couple enjoyed a night out on Wednesday, and according to a source, they let their feelings for one another clear.

Shelton and Stefani "held hands throughout the evening but also mingled separately," a source at the party told PEOPLE Magazine on Friday. "Blake was a gentleman and checked on Gwen several times. He made sure that she had drinks."

The event, which was held in celebration of Jennifer Meyer's new ready-to-wear collection with Barneys New York, was also attended by several other celebrities, including Courteney Cox, Nicole Richie, Katy Perry, January Jones, Kris Jenner and Gigi Hadid, and hosted by Meyer's husband, Tobey Maguire, and longtime friend Jennier Aniston.

"He seemed very smitten," the source said of Shelton. "Gwen was giddy and very flirty. They were both happy."

Although the new couple reportedly arrived to the event together, they didn't pose for any photos together.

Prior to his romance with Stefani, Shelton had been married for four years to fellow country star Miranda Lambert. Meanwhile, Stefani and her former husband, Gavin Rossdale, the father of her three children, had been married for 13 years before calling it quits in August.
