Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz are officially engaged, but so far, there's not much else going on.

Tom Schwartz Claims He 'Nailed' His 'Surprise' Proposal To Katie Maloney On 'Vanderpump Rules'

Although Maloney has every intention of walking down the aisle at some point, she and Schwartz are taking things slow -- at least for now. During a new interview, the Vanderpump Rules star dished on her recent engagement.

"Myself and Tom, we haven't really set a date or put any real plans into motion, but it will be happening," Maloney revealed to Perez Hilton on Monday. "Right now we are just kind of relishing in our fianceship. We've been together for a really long time, so I think we are going to take our time and enjoy each day. We'll get there."

Maloney went on to reveal the real reason she set an ultimatum of six months for her now-fiance.

"The ultimatum was not to force him to marry me. [It was] just to force him to really think about a future and whether I was the one and whether he was going to want to make that commitment to me one day," she explained. "Once he really started to think about the prospect of losing me and not being with me, his fear of commitment sort of demished and he started to warm up to the idea. I saw him reinvest and really commit to the relationship and that's really what I wanted."
