"Fifty Shades of Grey" movie casting rumors continue to heat up the web at an unrealistic rate. Week in and week out, the erotica's loyalists have been obsessively scouring the Internet for the latest information on its big screen adaptation.

One of the names that has once again come up as a potential candidate for the role of Anastasia Steele is "Lovelace's" Amanda Seyfried. Due to her beauty and age, the 27-year-old beauty has been sporadically voted on in a plethora of Internet fan polls for Ana.

In her latest film, which is a biopic titled "Lovelace," Seyfried plays a somewhat similar part to Anastasia Steele as Linda Lovelace, an infamous porno star.

According to Daily Mail, Seyfried even admittedly practiced doing fellatio on a popsicle in order to bring a sense of realism to one of the flick's sex scenes. To top it off, "Fifty Shades" screenwriter Kelly Marcel recently stated that the film will stay true to the raunchy novels with lots of sex and the producers will be seeking to get an NC-17 rating, states Style Magazine.

On the contrary, International Business Times went on the record to state that the actress "seems a better fit for the role of the sexier, darker and feistier Eva Trammel of the other erotic series, Crossfire."

The Steele character is described as a 21-year-old virgin who is very quiet. She eventually agrees to the S&M-crazed billionaire Christian Grey's submissive ways.

Other notable actresses who fans are strongly considering as potential candidates for the Steele role include Nina Dobrev of "Vampire Diaries," Lucy Hale of "Pretty Little Liars," and "Gilmore Girls'" Alexis Bledel among several others.

Up until this point, author E.L. James and the producers of the "Fifty Shades" film have remained coy on how the casting process will ultimately unfold. Only time will tell who lands the coveted role of the college graduate-turned Red Room of Pain participant.
