'Teen Wolf' Season 5: A Skinwalker Cast? Jeff Davis teases Navajo & Ojibwe Connections

Scott McCall's (Tyler Posey) pack is ready to jump back into action on Teen Wolf, and with the Beast roaming the California suburbs, it's safe to say the supernatural teens won't have much time for homework. Lacrosse practice, however, is a different story.

MTV dropped its second Teen Wolf season 5 trailer on Monday, and the minute and a half teaser has fans ringing their hands in excitement and fear. With a little help from Chris Argent (JR Bourne), Grandpa Argent (Michael Hogan), and Deucaleon (Gideon Emery), Scott and Theo's (Cody Christian) packs are ready to take on the strongest werewolf ever created.

'Teen Wolf' Season 5: This Beloved 'Teen Wolf' Character Will Return This Winter, Who Is It?

Unfortunately, someone may have an ulterior motive. Who ever this unseen entity is, they will go to Ducaleon looking for advice on how to steal power from La Bête du Gévaudan. This has Theo written all over it.

Posey, meanwhile, has a few words of warning for who ever is planning on going after the Beast.

"The beast is...I don't know what we're aloud to tell you. It's [physically] huge. The Beast is a massive monster, way bigger [than the berserker]," Posey told Entertainment Weekly at New York Comic Con. "It's ominous. It's scary."

The Beast won't be Scott's only problem, however. Not only does he still have to deal with the Dread Doctors, but the true Alpha will also have to regain his pack as Lydia remains trapped in Eichen House and Kira (Arden Cho) attempts to undo the damage from season 5A.

Are you ready to head back to Beacon Hills? Tune it at a new night and time when Teen Wolf returns to MTV on Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. ET.
