Eddie Murphy accepted the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor this year, and he used his platform to poke fun at an old rival -- Bill Cosby.

Eddie Murphy Is Going To Be Father! For The 9th Time!

Murphy was the 2015 recipient for the Mark Twain Prize and this year's special finally aired on PBS. The comedian started his speech by admitting he was excited about getting the Mark Twain Prize because he thought it would have some sort of monetary value, hence the word "prize."

He added it should be called the "Mark Twain Surprise" with "the surprise being you ain't gettin' no money!"

Murphy then took an opportunity to perform a cutting stand-up bit in which he took some jabs at Cosby.

"Did y'all make Bill give his back?" Murphy asked the audience (Cosby won the prize in 2009). He went on to say, "[Cosby] should do one show where he just come out and just talk crazy."

Murphy launched into his very accurate Cosby impression:

"I would like to talk to some of the people who feel that I should give back my trophies!" he said, playing Cosby. "Just because you may have heard recently that I allegedly put the pills in the people's chocolate! I wish somebody would come up to my house talking 'bout 'give up the trophy because you put the pills in people's chocolate.' ... I'm not giving back s---!"

He then referenced comedian Hannibal Buress, who was one of the main catalysts behind the multitude of women who spoke out about Cosby sexually assaulting them.

"And who is Hannibal Buress?! Hannibal Buress?! First of all, Hannibal is a caveman's name," Murphy said as Cosby. "If I ever see or meet this Hannibal Buress in person I'm going to try to kill this n-----!"
