One month after production was supposed to have been completed, cameras continue to roll, and according to a new report, Richards and Yolanda Foster have been filming additional scenes for the show in an effort to amp up the drama of season six.

Producers needed to “do something to give the audience something to talk about because there was really nothing that exciting going on,” an insider told Radar Online on Tuesday.

“It wasn’t until Kim Richards filmed with the cast at sister Kyle‘s La Quinta vacation home that producers realized how boring things had been without her,” the source explained. “The chemistry between Yolanda Foster and Kim has always been strong, and both have newfound alliances because they felt bullied by the others. Kim and Yolanda have done additional filming and producers have been happy with the results.”

Weeks ago, a Radar Online source claimed Foster had pulled back from the show after learning members of the cast questioned her Lyme disease diagnosis.

Foster is “very reluctant to return full time to the show because she feels that producers have pitted the ladies against her regarding the Lyme disease diagnosis,” the insider explained. “Taylor Armstrong has been other cast members are riled up about Yolanda’s health, and questioning if the diagnosis is as bad as Yolanda says.”
