Despite being stuck behind bars, Bobby Shmurda's music career is still on.

Is There Going To Be A Film Based On Bobby Shmurda's Life?

On Friday, the rapper's new hit called "Hold It Down" featuring Abillyon was released. The song has a bit of a dark side with the sound of a gun being unloaded and Shmurda's voice ringing throughout the sound waves.

A lot of news about Shmurda has been kept quiet lately although he did recently speak from jail. In an interview with Hot 97's Ebro In the Morning, he opened up on his bail being set at $2 million. As it turns out, there is likely no chance of a reduction.

"They want a hundred percent," Shmurda said. "They don't want 25 percent, they don't want 40, they don't want 50. They want the whole two million dollars. We have more than the ten percent, it's the collateral. They want two million dollars collateral."

The music star also mentioned that he knows about all the gossip that's happening, one including a rumored fight he had with G29 cohort Rowdy Rebel during solitary confinement. But he claims that none of it is true.

"I'm always gonna be good," Shmurda said. "I heard a bunch of rumors about stuff happening to me, ain't nobody laid a finger on me yet. I get love from everywhere. Of course I got my haters, but what they say?'You ain't got no haters, you ain't poppin.' You know how that s--t go."
