According to People, the comedians and SNL alumni are celebrating 20 years of friendship in Hollywood. As the latest cover girls for Glamour's January Social Media Issue, the two revealed their secret to a long-lasting friendship.

"We don't see each other very often," Fey said.

"That's right," Poehler quipped. "It's like a good marriage. My mom always says it's very important to have people in your life who knew you when. The older you get, the more you treasure that idea of someone knowing your family and where you came from, and being around during these times and these times."

The two first met during an improv class in Chicago back in 1993 and are due to return to "Saturday Night Live" as hosts this month.

Their latest movie, Sisters will be out on Dec. 18.
