Flash mobs are common everywhere, especially when Christmas is fast approaching. However, the folks at Improv Everywhere decided to put a twist to their own flash mob by placing a giant light switch in New York City.

In the video, the giant light switch was placed at a park. Instead of turning on christmas lights, it turned out that it presents an even bigger surprise. When a randow New Yorker flipped the switch, not only did the whole park glowed but even the people at the park glowed with christmas lights on their body, which was a sight to behold. As a result, some New Yorkers were left shocked and surprised by this unique flash mob.

To execute this, people involved in the flash mob were given their respective christmas lights. They were instructed that whenever the switch is flipped, they will turn on their lights and freeze in their place. This was difficult because they have to be coordinated in doing this show.

Kudos to Improv Everywhere for spreading the holiday cheers!
