Soulja Boy might have revealed Smith could have been telling the truth all along after his love triangle with Nia Riley came to a head this season on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.

Smith was slammed all season for saying that she and Soulja dated before Riley came into the picture. She pointed out that if they had not have broken up, she would have been on the show last season and not Riley. She also made it clear that Riley has also dated one of her exes.

But now Soulja Boy is spilling the real truth.

He told VH1 before taping the reunion special last month that him and Riley first sparked their on-and-off romance in 2008. But what he revealed next was pretty interesting.

“Nas came in the picture after the first season of ‘Love & Hip Hop’…Well came back in the picture. She was in the picture when I first met Nia. The first day that I met Nia, I met Nas.”

So, there could be some truth to Smith’s story. The timeline also doesn’t match up because last year Riley said she and Soulja Boy had been going strong for eight years. When they taped, it’s likely that it was around six years.
