A co-host has been announced for the 2016 AVN Awards.

On Tuesday, Business.AVN announced that comedienne and actress Kate Quigley will be co-hosting the award ceremony that honors the adult entertainment industry. As some of the most risque prizes get handed down, Quigley will be there to add humor and spunk for the evening.

"I'm so excited to be hosting the 2016 AVN Awards with the lovely Joanna Angel and Anikka Albrite," the comedienne said. "Mostly because I know my mom will have to explain what the show is about to all the ladies in her quilting club."

Quigley has done plenty of stand-up routines as well as hosting Undercover on Playboy TV. Based on what others are saying about her, it sounds like she'll bring in a lot of laughs at the X-rated ceremony.

"Kate Quigley is smart, funny and a little outrageous," Beth Noona of AVN Media Network said. "Thus, she's the perfect addition to the 2016 AVN Awards show, and we're very excited to have her. I know Kate will keep the crowd laughing all night and make this show what we want it to be- the biggest and wildest party of the year!"

The 2016 AVN Awards Show will take place on Saturday, January 23 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
