After a weeks-long search into Michael's disappearance, his story has come to a tragic end.
"We want to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers during this very difficult time," Cavallari said in a statement to E! News on Wednesday. "We have just been informed by the authorities my brother's body has been found. This is a very painful time and we are still processing it all. We kindly ask everyone please respect our privacy during our time of grieving."

On Nov. 27, Michael initially raised concern when his 2014 Honda Civic was found abandoned on I-70 in Utah. However, it wasn't until earlier this week when rumors regarding his mysterious disappearance began to swirl online.
At the time, Cavallari sent out a message to her fans on Instagram, along with a throwback photo of herself and her brother, thanking fans for their support and well-wishes.
"I appreciate all the concern, thoughts, and prayers that have been extended to me and my family. We remain hopeful and I will share any news that we receive. I have such gratitude for all those that have shared their support," she wrote in the caption.

Cavallari hasn't shared any further posts on social media regarding the untimely death of Michael.
