Remember the Oasis band? Front man Noel Gallagher reveals in a recent interview with Australia’s Music Feeds how outspoken he was on Adele’s taste of music.

“If someone wants to know what I think of Adele, I’ll f--king tell them,” he told the site. “Not because I have any sort of agenda or because I’m trying to whip up any kind of hysteria. I just don’t see what all the fuss is about. I don’t like her music. I think it’s music for f--king grannies.”

Apparently, this isn’t the first time that the 48-year-old singer was being upfront against a mainstream musician. According to Us Weekly, back in March he scoffed when a Rolling Stone reporter noted that many consider Taylor Swift to be a good songwriter.

Gallagher then made quick remarks about the “Bad Blood” singer saying: "Who says that? Her parents?" he quipped to the mag of the “Style” hit maker. "Who's 'people'? Name these people. You're f--king lying. She seems like a nice girl, but no one has ever said those words, and you f--king know it.”

Tracking back, According to Contactmusic.com, Oasis (formed 1991) is a British rock band, from Manchester. The band rose to fame during the '"Britpop" era of the 1990's and has gone on to sell over 50 million albums across the world. In the summer of 1995, the British press made a great deal of a reported rivalry between Oasis and the London band, Blur. The two bands released singles on the same day. Blur's "Country House" sold 58,000 more than Oasis' "Roll With It."

Noel Gallagher's famous response to the battle was that he hoped Damon Albarn and Alex James "would catch AIDS and die." The comment created a great deal of uproar in the media and Gallagher was forced to write a formal apology to a number of publications.

On the other note, Gallagher’s famed British rock band formed in 1991. To date, the group has been nominated for three Grammys but has failed to take home a win. Adele, on the other hand, has won 10. Her third studio album, 25, was released last month to rave reviews and is set to surpass 5 million copies sold in the first three weeks alone, Us Weekly wrote.
