Are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge trying to save the British taxpayers a little money this holiday season? That might or might not be the case, as the royal couple was supposedly spotted bargain hunting at a supermarket in London this past weekend.

Duchess Catherine News: Critics Say Kate Middleton's Diet Is Taking A Toll On Her Looks 

According to Britain's The Mirror on Sunday, a couple that looked eerily similar to Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton were seen supposedly buying Christmas gifts at a Wilko supermarket.

While there is no doubt that many shoppers inside the store had to do a double take, the gentlemen dressed in a blue sweater and khaki pants and the woman in the red tartan dress were actually paid professional Royal lookalikes.

Models Simon Watkinson and Heidi Aga look so much like the Duke and Duchess that they managed to shock a lot of onlookers inside the store.

Wilko Kensington store manager, Harlen Holding told the publication, "There were more than a few shocked faces and plenty of double-takes as 'Kate and Wills' paid their unexpected visit."

He added, "The truth is, of course, that it wasn't actually the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge, but the UK's most popular Kate and Wills lookalikes."
