The way things went down in the midseason finale of season 7 of The Good Wife, it seemed like Jason (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) had said his goodbyes and woudn't be returning.

Turns out, Jason is not going anywhere, even though Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and him said heartfelt goodbyes. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, showrunners Robert and Michelle King revealed that Jason was not going anywhere for the rest of this chapter.

When asked if fans will get to see more of Jason this season, the Kings had a positive response.

"Oh yeah. He's in all remaining episodes this year except one," they revealed.

The showrunners also spoke to the publication about Eli's (Alan Cumming) big confession in the midseason finale of the show. They revealed that they always intended to have Eli come clean about the phone message.

"Eli isn't the only one who's been carrying the burden of Will's erased phone message," they said. "It's been weighing on the writers for the last five years too. We've never forgotten it, and knew that such a malignant secret wouldn't stay secret forever. It's always been our hope to find just the right moment to play out that story."

'KSR' aired on December 13.
