The Wanted Reality Show on E! About British Pop Band, Called 'The Wanted Life'
The Wanted signed a deal with E! for their own reality show set to air in June currently titled The Wanted Life, the band revealed Wednesday.
Band member Max George called Ryan Seacrest's radio show to announce the news, saying that the show will be filmed in Hollywood where the band will relocate to for a certain period of time - a "bit of fly on the wall."
"I feel so sorry for [the neighbors], apologies now if it is you! We're all really excited about it," he joked.
George also noted that while the cameras will be following the band around, he and Jay McGuiness are not always easy to be find. He added, "Normally it's me and Jay spend quite a lot of time outside of our own home for whatever reason, so I think me and Jay will be doing a lot of staying elsewhere."
The band's manager, Scooter Braun, confirmed via his Twitter page that some of the show has already been filming, saying, "I have seen the pilot episode...trust me...get ready to love these guys and die laughing."
The Wanted Life is a working title and may be changed before the show airs, according to Seacrest's official website for his KIIS FM radio show. The reality show will be produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions.
"America has a long history of falling for British bad boy musicians...The Wanted are already beloved by legions of fans far and wide," Seacrest said. "This talented and outspoken English-Irish band are setting their own course to fame and this journey is the foundation of the series."
The American Idol host added that viewers will see new pop tracks debuting in the show, as well as plenty of "humor, antics and drama behind-the-scenes."
E! is home to other reality shows about musicians as well. Jonas Brother Kevin stars in Married to Jonas and the United Kingdom band The Saturdays have their own show called Chasing The Saturdays.
The Wanted band members are George, Siva Kaneswaran, McGuinness, Tom Parker and Nathan Skyes.
