Earlier this week, the band teased the video would be dropping later on. On Tuesday, the band's Twitter account shared the "Jet Black Heart" artwork.

On Wednesday, they teased 15-second clip from the music video, while noting, "This one's for all of you," since they recruited fans to help execute putting this video together.

Drummer Ashton Irwin tweeted Wednesday night, "This video goes out to you."

Luke Hemmings shared similar sentiments as the countdown to the release of the music video neared.

The band again teased some "Jet Black Heart" artwork Thursday morning since the release would occur later on in the day.

The band admitted to being "overwhelmed by the response" fans gave in partaking with the making of this music video.

"This song was written for you. This video was made for you by you," Calum Hood dished upon the video's release.

"Really hope you guys love this one," Michael Clifford added.

Meanwhile, Irwin, tweeted "Hope" while sharing the video, which spurred a fan to thank him and his bandmates for including diversity in the music video.

That led to the utmost importance that this music video represents.

"We are one world! We are united as the youth. All different cultures, races, religions," Irwin explained.

The video for "Jet Black Heart" clearly means a lot to the band as well as the fans. Check it out below.
