Feb. 11, 2013 will be the one-year annivesary of legendary pop star Whitney Houston. It has been almost one year when the I'll Always Love You singer was found dead in her bathtub face down. Her cause of death was determined to be accidental drowning and drugs were found in here system. Houston's tragic death while she was preparing for Clive Owen's annual pre-Grammy party. Her untimely death had brought a dark gloom during the Grammy's last year, with emotional tributes being paid to the pop star during the event.

Among them, Jennifer Hudson paid a tribute to Whitney Houston with a rendition of "I Will Always Love You" at the 2012 Grammy Awards. The performance at Staples Center in Los Angeles began with a single spotlight on Hudson's silhouette and a picture of a singing Houston in the background.

Hudson sang the first part of the song a cappella to sporadic cheers in the audience. "Whitney, Whitney, we love you," Hudson sang to end the song.
