Are George and Amal Clooney having trust issues with their marriage already? Not quite, although there's no doubting that there are a good handful of women who wouldn't mind stealing Amal's husband for the night. One of those women include former British minister Edwina Currie, who admitted that she has a major crush on the Hollywood star.

According to the Mirror on Tuesday, the Tory politician made some rather flattering than crude remarks about the married actor and how she would like to spend her last moments on Earth with him before she dies.

When asked who would be her dream date, Currie replied with, "George Clooney - all by himself."

She then added, "I'm a huge fan. He's every middle-aged woman's dream. He's more than an actor. He's an activist and he puts his money where his mouth is and I like that."

And that's when things started getting a little awkward when Currie admitted that she would love to make love to Clooney before her death.

The married mother-of-two said, "I'd be happy just to sit there gazing into his eyes, thinking, 'Beautiful! Beautiful!' I was once asked where I'd like to die, and the answer is under George Clooney."

So far, Clooney himself has not made any comments. Currie was also once a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing in 2011, which is the British version of Dancing With The Stars.
