The Academy of Country Music Awards announced Wednesday the nominees for the 48th annual show taking place on April 7.

Singer-songwriter Eric Church has the lead with seven nominations while country-pop singer Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert each received five nods. Church, 35, is nominated as Male Vocalist of the Year and received his second consecutive nod for Album of the Year, this time for his 2011 album Chief. He is also nominated for Single Record, Song of the Year and for Video of the Year for Creepin'.

Hunter Hayes, 21, received six nominations including one for Video of the Year for Wanted. The newcomer released his first album, self-titled, in 2012.

Swift received her fourth consecutive nomination for Entertainer of the Year and if she wins, it will be the 23-year-old singer's third consecutive claim to that title. She is also nominated a fourth time for Video of the Year, for We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
