Kardashian and her rapper-boyfriend Kanye West spent some time relaxing at a resort in Rio de Janiero last week but on Tuesday, they got in trouble with John F. Kennedy Airport’s TSA agents when returning home from their vacation.

The original plan was for the couple to fly into New York's JFK and then transfer to a connecting flight to LAX.

With only a short window to make their second flight, the power couple spoke with an airline greeter who let them breeze by the security checkpoint. West, 35, and Kardashian, 32, finally cozied into their seats on the LA-bound flight, when they were removed by TSA agents who then forced them to go through the mandated airport security checkpoints.

Because of this, other passengers on the plane had to pay. The aircraft was delayed for departure for close to an hour while the couple was screened by TSA. TSA agents said the frustrating ordeal was actually not the couple's fault, instead pointing the finger at the agent who let them bypass the checkpoint, according to TMZ.

“An airline employee escorted the two travelers through a non-public are in order to provide expedited access to their domestic flight,” the agency told the gossip website. “In doing so, the airline employee violated security protocols by permitting the travelers to by-ass the TSA security checkpoint. TSA officials learned of the violations and conducted a private screening of the two passengers in the area of the jet way.

“The passengers were cleared to board their flight, which departed after a delay of approximately 50 minutes.”

No word as of yet whether the agent lost his job, but Kardashian is already back to work for the eighth season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. She tweeted her excitement for the show's return, posting, “1st day of filming Keeping Up With The Kardashian's Season 8!!! Wooowhooo!”
