A premiere date has been announced for the fourth season of Bates Motel.

A Woman In Love With Alex Joins 'Bates Motel'

On Wednesday, Variety posted a report on the A&E series based on the classic film Psycho taking on the story of Norma and Norman Bates. It turns out that the fourth year will premiere on Monday, March 7 for 10 episodes.

The plotline is supposed to tackle Norman's insanity as it gets worse and Norma does what she can to give her son serious help. Sheriff Romero is also going to be back in their lives.

In a previous interview with ComicBook.com, Nestor Carbonell (Alex) dished on how Norma's craziness will continue and it sounds like it'll be worth a watch.

"There's a lot of payoff," Carbonell said. "There's been a lot of set up until now, so there will be payoff. We saw Norma's descent already clearly happening especially through the second half of last season so we'll see more of that to come, no doubt about it. For my part, whether anything is gonna happen with Norma, she's a frustrating woman, that's all I've got to say. She's a tough one. She's a tough nut to crack so we'll see what happens there."

Fans of classic horror films might also be pleased to hear that the new series Damien will premiere its first episode right after Bates Motel. This program is about Damien from the creepy flick The Omen who's known as the spawn of Satan. The boy is now an adult and comes to the realization that he is the Antichrist.
