The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton made a major public appearance on Tuesday with a visit to Hope House and the Action on Addiction charity, for which she is a patron, as the media tried to secure photos of her baby bump.

The visit was her second public appearance since her pregnancy was announced in December. In early January, along with Prince William, she attended a private viewing of her official portrait at London's National Portrait Gallery.

Action and Addiction treats female substance abusers while offering them assistance for other disorders. Middleton first became involved with the charity in January 2012 according to US Magazine.

Middleton reportedly intends to continue her charity work until she gives birth in July.
